Speaker: Darrin “DJ” Sims
The Director of the Truth + Transformation Program is Darrin “DJ” Sims, a minister, teacher, community organizer, and strategist. In his role at the National Center for Civil and Human Rights, DJ leads work which explores the truth of US history using strategies of memorialization, commemoration, and engagement. He works in coalition with a wide range of community partners to create a civic architecture by confronting our history of racial discrimination and its manifestations today and charting collaborative a path forward on racial equity.
